Outlog (English Ver.) - An application to share your “happiness” with others, released on May, 2014.

[Description]
Are you looking for any new courses for your outdoor activities such as running, road biking, climbing, and traveling? Outlog is an application designed to share your “happiness” as a course, a GPS log in other words, with others and to track the shared course easily. Outlog provides users not only information, but also social experiences.

[Features by User Types]
■Keeping records of your outdoor activities and sharing them with others in a simple manner

Course creation with GPS log, photos, and comments in Outlog is very simple*.
*Non-public option is available.
1. Start GPS logging.
2. Tap a camera icon when you take photos.
3. Upload the GPS log and photos to the server with your comments.

Save and edit at any time.
When the mobile reception is bad or when you are tired, you can save the data temporarily, and upload them later. In addition, you can edit the course information, photos, and comments afterward.

Enjoy photos AND your courses.
Since photos are mapped on courses, you will have fun when you review them.

Share information with all participants.
Outlog enables you to share the information with a large group immediately after the event such as a walk rally or an orienteering.

■Exploring various running or walking courses

Search and find your favorite course.
We are always interested in enjoyable courses! Outlog enables you to search and review courses which the other users uploaded.

Trace other users’ happiness.
As a premium member (monthly fee 300 yen/annual fee 3,000 yen), you always be able to show your present location on the course so that you do not have to miss any corners to turn or attractions to enjoy. Using this course tracing functionality, you easily will be able to return your proper way when you get lost.

Use GoogleMAP through Outlog.
Premium members also be able to use “Get to the place” functionality which enables you to shortcut the course or stop by places which are not on the shared courses. Using this functionality, the navigation will be automatically succeeded by GoogleMAP. Instead of accessing another navigation system and searching addresses repeatedly, you can just keep using Outlog.

■ Managing the data of training and improving motivation

Manage your training data.
Outlog records the data periodically (total, monthly or weekly) by each activity (running, road biking, trail running or etc.). Those data can be visualized graphically on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.

Improve your motivation.
As a premium member, you can not only get information of shared courses, but also participate in ranking. You also can download the GPS data of other ranking participants or yours and virtually race with them.
Although participation in ranking and virtual race using other users’ courses is prepared only for premium members, standard members are welcomed to perform those features using your own course for free.
